An approximate time frame for blooming. While we hope that the seasons arrive as we want them to, good old Mother Nature seems to change her mind yearly here in zone 5. So that being said, these plants are grouped by when we all hope for the season's to arrive..
Extra-Early – First blooming daylilies of the year (beginning of June – End of June)
Early – Bloom 3 to 5 weeks prior to mid-season. (mid June – mid July)
Midseason – Blooms during the peak of daylily (mid July – mid August)
Late – Usually Bloom 4 to 6 weeks after mid-season. (beginning of August – beginning September)
Very Late – Last to bloom, near the end of summer. (mid August – mid September)
Re-bloomer – Blooms more than once in a single season.
